Task Force’s “No Price is Right” Operation Nets Eight Arrests
June 19, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that eight (8) people were arrested this past Saturday as a result of the Ventura County Organized Retail Theft Task Force’s “No Price Is Right” blitz operation in Camarillo.
The Ventura County Organized Retail Theft Task Force continued its blitz operations throughout the county, this time at the Camarillo Premium Outlets.
On Saturday, the task force partnered with many of the retailers as well as Garda World who provides security at the Outlets. The operation was deemed a success and led to the arrest of 7 adults and 1 juvenile, the recovery of nearly $6,000 in stolen property, and the seizure of burglary tools and a pair of brass knuckles.
Blitz operations are common strategies deployed by law enforcement to concentrate on specific retail establishment(s) to combat theft by collaborating with Loss Prevention / Asset Protection officers.
Detectives with the Task Force teamed up with members of the Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement Unit and the District Attorney’s Office - Bureau of Investigations. The Task Force was assisted by deputies from the Camarillo Station.
Granados and Hernandez were arrested after they entered several different stores, stealing nearly $700 worth of merchandise. Detectives contacted the pair at their vehicle and both ran. They were quickly caught and arrested. Both were arrested and booked at the Main Jail for Conspiracy to commit Organized Retail Theft, Resist an Executive Officer and Granados was arrested for possession of brass knuckles.
Sanchez and Santiago were arrested for Conspiracy to commit Organized Retail Theft, Grand Theft, Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of Burglary Tools. The vehicle related to the two was searched incident to arrest and over $2,200 worth of stolen merchandise from six different Outlet retailers was seized. Sanchez is known to Task Force detectives as detectives have arrested him on prior occasions for similar charges. Sanchez is out on bail for that case as well as other theft related cases. A third suspect involved has been identified and is currently being sought by Task Force Detectives.
Flores was cited and released for one count of misdemeanor shoplifting after he stole $75 in merchandise from one store. Flores is due in court on 7/14/25 for arraignment.
Rosas, Barrero and a male juvenile were arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Organized Retail Theft. Rosas and Barrero were additionally arrested for Child Endangerment for committing crimes with a juvenile present. Rosas was also arrested for possession of burglary tools. The trio stole over $2600 from 14 different retailers from all three areas of the Outlets. Rosas and Martinez were booked into the Main Jail while the juvenile was cited and released to a parent. Rosas was released on “Pre Trial Monitoring” by the judge.
All cases were submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review. The Task Force welcomes retailers from throughout the county who are experiencing significant retail theft and want to participate in similar blitz operations to call their main line at (805) 383-8703.
