Help Us Find Hanley Emst 

July 16, 2025 – Orange County Sheriff's Department officials report that investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating critical missing person 48-year-old Hanley Emst of Laguna Niguel.

Hanley was last seen on the evening of Friday, July 4, after leaving his home in Laguna Niguel. He was believed to be heading to Scenic Drive in Dana Point to watch the fireworks show.

He was last seen wearing a tan and orange plaid tracksuit (as seen in the photo) and white shoes.

If you have any information about Hanley’s whereabouts, please call the Orange County Sheriff’s Department at 714-647-7000.

We'd like to bring him home safely.
