Hit and Run Leaves Bicyclist Deceased
September 27, 2025 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the West Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that left a bicyclist deceased.
On September 25, 2025, around 12:30 p.m., the suspect’s vehicle, a dark, green-colored Chevy Silverado pick-up truck, was traveling southbound on Harvard Boulevard approaching 11th Street. The vehicle struck a bicyclist traveling southbound on Harvard Boulevard in the same direction.
The driver continued traveling southbound on Harvard Boulevard without stopping to identify themselves or render aid to the victim, as required by law. The victim was transported to a local hospital by paramedics where he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim’s identity is being withheld until next of kin has been notified.
Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves.
On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $50,000 is available to community members that provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
