Fatal Traffic Collision 

October 25, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on October 24, 2025, deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station were notified that one of the juvenile victims had succumbed to their injuries. The other juvenile victim was released from the hospital and continues to recover at home. The identity of the juvenile victims will not be released.

The charge of vehicular manslaughter was filed against Jose Villegasorbe with the Riverside District Attorney’s Office. This is an ongoing investigation.
