October 27, 2025 – Sacramento County Sheriff's Office officials report that just before 7:30 P.M. Saturday night, Deputies responded to the 5100 block of Antler Run Place (in Antelope) after 40-year-old Bahader Dheer threatened to kill his wife, family, and their dog. Thankfully, they all made it out safely.

Deputies established a perimeter and called for Dheer to surrender, but he refused. Sheriff’s SED (SWAT Team) responded with armored vehicles, K9s, drones, the Rook, Command Bus, and other “military equipment,” along with assistance from neighboring Citrus Heights Police Department.

After clearing the home around 1:00 A.M., Dheer was found hiding in a neighbor’s backyard. He refused to surrender and was apprehended by Sheriff’s K9 Dax. Dheer was treated at a local hospital before being booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he is being held on $100,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 28.
