Individuals Arrested for Selling Narcotics
December 4, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that on November 24, 2025, a
concerned Ventura County resident called Sheriff’s Dispatch to report three suspicious individuals who were sitting inside of a parked vehicle. The individuals appeared to be drinking alcohol and using narcotics. There was a heightened level of concern because the individuals were in the parking lot of the Ojai Skateboard Park and there were a large number of children in and around the skateboard park.
Deputies who were assigned to the Ojai Police Department responded to the area and contacted Colin Morisi, Olivia Johnson and Nicholas Garza, none of which were Ventura County residents. While speaking with the individuals, deputies observed an open alcohol container inside the vehicle and what appeared to be drug paraphernalia. Additionally, all three individuals displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
The individuals were detained and asked to step out of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 879 counterfeit Adderall pills, 722 counterfeit Oxycodone pills, around 7 grams of Ketamine, 1 gram of Cocaine and 14 counterfeit Xanax pills. Deputies also located and seized hundreds of small Ziploc bags which could be used for individual packaging and a small digital scale. Based on the fact there was a large quantity of narcotics possessed with supplies for individual packaging, deputies believed the individuals possessed the narcotics with the intent to sell them to residents of Ventura County.
The counterfeit Oxycodone pills were blue circular pills marked “M-30” and are commonly referred to as “Mexican Blues, Blues or M-Boxes”. These counterfeit pills are often laced with a potentially lethal doses of fentanyl. Preliminary testing (TruNarc) of the counterfeit Adderall pills indicated they contained methamphetamine which is not an active ingredient of Adderall.
A “TruNarc” device is a handheld narcotics analyzer. Deputies have the ability to utilize this tool to scan suspected illicit narcotics to presumptively identify them prior to an individual’s arrest and/or booking.
All three of the individuals were arrested for violations of HS 11351 – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, HS 11378 – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, HS 11550(a) – Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and PC 182(a)(1) – Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
Due to the actions of the reporting party, deputies were able to seize a large amount of illicit narcotics and prevent them from being distributed to Ventura County residents. The Ojai Police Department appreciates the community member’s diligence in reporting suspicious activity in public areas.
