Homicide Investigation
December 7, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that during the course of an extensive investigation, Central Homicide Unit investigators identified the suspects in this case as Marquise Hall (below left), a 34-year-old resident of Highland, and Tyiesha Sweeney (below right), a 28-year-old resident of Highland. On December 3, 2025, homicide investigators, with the assistance of the Riverside District Attorney’s Gang Impact Team, located and arrested both Hall and Sweeney. They were both booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center, in Riverside. Hall was booked for murder, and Sweeney was booked for accessory to murder.

Update:
During the course of the investigation, the male victim in this case was identified as 57-year-old, Cesar Gaitan, a resident of Moreno Valley. This investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
