Arrest Made in Fatal South Los Angeles Vehicular Homicide 

October 30, 2026 – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that on September 22, 2026, around 9:35 p.m., a blue 2025 Nissan Sentra (California license plate 9UVV136) was traveling eastbound on 60th Street at high speed when it struck two pedestrians, identified as 16-year-old Hernan Martinez and 14-year-old Vicky Martinez. Hernan Martinez died at the scene, while Vicky Martinez sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The suspect was subsequently identified as “Raygine Glentasia Evans.”

On October 28, 2026, around 10:30 a.m., detectives assigned to the LAPD South Traffic Division, with the assistance from LAPD Metropolitan Division personnel, located and arrested Evans in the City of Los Angeles.
