August 19, 2021 - Plumas County Sheriff's Office reports Rush Creek residents can return home.
Residents of Rush Creek Road in the Feather River Canyon can now return home.
This area was deemed safe from active fire and hazard trees. Residents should stay on Highway 70 to get back, and follow all directions from public safety officials.
Please consult your water district authority for information on drinking water quality.
While this area has been deemed safe by officials, residents should stay alert of changing conditions and be prepared to leave if necessary.
