November 25, 2019 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Southern Sierra Nevada and Kern County mountains above 2,000 valid through 4:00 A.M. Friday morning.
A Winter Storm Warning means that significant snow accumulations could make travel exceptionally hazardous or impossible.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the West Side Hills for up to 3 inches of snow above 2000 feet.
If you plan to travel, consider alternate strategies.
If you must travel, remember to carry tire chains, plenty of food, a good deal of water, and warm clothing in your vehicle.
