Manna House Co-Presidents Cliff and Mary Lou Gardner (L) accept a $300 donation from Beverly Suggs, Soroptimist International of Mariposa (R). 

March 5, 2020 - Manna House, a non-profit organization that provides emergency food to all in need, is the most recent recipient of a $300 donation from Soroptimist International of Mariposa.  Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.  In addition to participating in international projects, the Mariposa Club achieves this mission locally by giving scholarships to graduating seniors, presenting monetary awards to women that are the heads of their households seeking further education, and donating funds and services to organizations, including Mountain Crisis, Helping Hands, and the John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation.
