September Update: Shelter is Open - Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

April 4, 2020 - Mariposa SPCA is closed due to the coronavirus. Anyone needing to contact Jeanette can send a message to her on Facebook messenger, or by commenting on the Facebook.

If you’d rather call, someone will be available to answer the phone weekly, Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon, just call (209) 966-5275.

The pictures below are a few of the animals available at shelter. (Pictured l-r) A female Terrier Chihuahua mix, a male Staffordshire, and a male Chihuahua Doxie mix. They are all about a year old, fixed, and ready to go to good homes.
They are making appointments for adoptions, since they’re closed to the public. Please message SPCA of Mariposa County if you are interested in adopting.

The shelter will remain closed until further notice, or once the Stay at Home order is lifted.

The shelter has been taking advantage of the closure and are having much needed updates and improvements made to the cat rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and hospital areas. The updates will make all areas easier to be cleaned and sanitized, which will make it easier to keep the animals healthier and keep infections down.
