April 25, 2020 - On Friday, Drew Sylvia, Assistant Superintendent Mariposa County Unified School District released the following statement to the community.
April 24, 2020
Hello everyone,
As we continue to work together to provide the essential services necessary to maintain district operations and student learning, our Mariposa County Public Health Officials have provided a directive that will support ensuring greater safety precautions for our employees and visitors. We want to keep you and your family healthy and safe through these uncertain and high anxiety times.
This process will involve conducting daily screenings through a survey for all employees and visitors prior to coming into or onto any school facility. We have a google survey health screener on our district webpage.
To be aware the employee/visitor screener is MANDATORY for all and will be required to ensure that everyone coming into or onto a facility is healthy with no exposure to COVID-19 symptoms.
This survey will only need to be completed if you plan to come into or onto a facility and must be completed each day you plan to do so, will not be required for any parent that will be picking lunches or dropping documents in a dropbox.
We ask that you continue to use our existing protocols of social distancing, safe hygiene practices, and respiratory etiquette.
Thank you,
Drew Sylvia
Assistant Superintendent
Mariposa County Unified School District
