December 17, 2021 - To help boost morale and provide just a little more motivation to staff, last school year the MCHS Academic Boosters Club (ABC) provided gift cards and other locally purchased prizes for the Staff Club at Mariposa County High School to use in raffles for staff activities related to students.
Given that the program is popular and works, ABC is continuing with monthly gifts this school year.
In November, (pictured above) Craig Dormer won the gift card to Tunnel View Coffee and Alex Keeton won the gift card to The Lemon Drop.
This month, Ben Jewell (above) won the gift card to The Grove House and Mighty Chen (below) won the gift card to Sticks Coffee.
Next month's prizes (below) are to Pony Expresso and High Country Health Foods.
ABC is a nonprofit organization with the mission of supplementing and enriching academic experiences and providing educational tools for Mariposa County High School students.
While some of its regular programs and fundraising events continue to be on hold given the guidelines and limitations around Covid-19, ABC is as committed as ever to providing support to teachers, fortifying the learning and enrichment opportunities of students, and celebrating student successes.
The organization is holding its end of year fundraising campaign. As a 501(c)3, donations to ABC are tax deductible.
