3/1/2022 COVID-19 Update:

New cases: 22

Mariposa County currently has 2,960 total cases, 43 of those are currently active with 27 hospitalized.

Mariposa County has reported 515 cases in fully vaccinated individuals since April 2021. This is out of a total of 2,521 cases reported since that time.

Emergency warning signs include: Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, confusion or inability to arouse, bluish lips or face. If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately. * This list is not all inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning. Please call ahead so that appropriate precautions can be taken.

Older patients and individuals who have severe underlying medical conditions or those with immunocompromised: contact your healthcare provider early, even if your illness is mild

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:
• Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay away from work, school or other people if you become sick with respiratory symptoms such as fever and cough.
