July 23, 2022 – The Oak Fire in Mariposa County started on Friday, July 22, 2022, at around 2:00 P.M. CAL FIRE is now reporting to be at 6,555 acres, with 0% containment as of 7:00 A.M. CAL FIRE reported the fire started off Hwy 140 and Carstens Rd., near Midpines, in Mariposa County.
