Scattered showers and mixed wet and dry thunderstorms are likely to be ongoing across Washington into the Idaho Panhandle in the morning and possibly southeast Oregon into southwest Idaho. Scattered mostly wet thunderstorms will develop across eastern Oregon, eastern Washington, southern and central Idaho, and western Montana in the afternoon, although drier storms are likely across northern Idaho into western Montana. Severe storms are possible across portions of northern and eastern Washington into northeast Oregon and northern Idaho. Drier air will move into central Oregon and northern California in the afternoon, with elevated fire weather conditions likely due to southwest sustained winds of 10- 20 mph gusting to 25-35 mph amid minimum relative humidity of 8-20%. Dry and breezy conditions are also expected across portions of north-central and northeast Montana. Scattered wet monsoonal thunderstorms will continue across the Southwest, Colorado Rockies, southeast California, and much of the Great Basin. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely across much of Texas, becoming more numerous across the Lower Mississippi Valley into the central and southern Appalachians and Mid-Atlantic. Thunderstorms will be more isolated across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
