February 19, 2023 – The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office says that instead of looking for Valentines on the universal day of love, a few people thought it would be a good idea to steal from one of our local businesses.
In the middle of the day on February 14th two men walked into Coast Hardware and stole a Generator. They fled the area in a dark gray Nissan 4 door with tinted windows.
What these folks don't realize is the amazing relationship that our office has with our local residents and businesses. While we can't give you the details of our investigation, what we can tell you is that because of that relationship, our investigative tools and the dedicated men and women of the Sheriff's Office who refuse to allow criminals to prey on our communities we will have those suspects in our local jail very soon.
