Steer Clear of Debris 

June 6, 2023 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials issue warning on water safety.

Our Boating Enforcement Unit is coming across a lot of hazard in waterways.  As the water rises in lakes such as Shaver and Pine Flat, more debris ends up in the water.   We are seeing full trees, logs, branches, etc.

Boaters must keep a proper look out when underway and look for these dangerous objects. Striking one can cause significant damage to boats and seriously injure skiers / boarders being pulled by a boat or personal watercraft.
