Update Per Plumas County Sheriff's Office: Both juveniles have been located‼️
Sophia and Aideyn were located at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 7, 2023, in the eastern portion of Plumas County by an Officer with the California Highway Patrol. We would like to thank everyone for sharing this post and helping us locate both subjects.
Attention Urgent: Missing Juveniles
July 6, 2023 - Plumas County Sheriff's Office officials report that they are seeking assistance from the public in locating two missing runaway juveniles. Sophia Kortangian (16) and Aideyn Knudson (16) have been reported missing from the Quincy area this evening (7/5/2023) and are believed to have run away together. It is suspected that they may be in the Quincy or Portola area.
We kindly request your support in spreading the word and keeping an eye out for Sophia and Aideyn. Any information or leads you may have could be crucial in locating them and ensuring their safety.
Sophia Kortangian is described as a 16-year-old girl, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue, green, and red sweatshirt, along with black shorts.
Aideyn Knudson is described as a 16-year-old boy, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue tank top and shorts.
