Arson Murder Investigation Update
September 15, 2023 - The Fresno Police Department released video footage of the suspect involved in the murder of 7-year-old Isaac Vallejo. Homicide detectives are asking for the public's help with any information regarding the identity of this suspect. Valley Crime Stoppers has offered a $12,500 reward on this case.
On July 6, 2022, The Fresno Fire Department responded to a house fire at 243 N. College Avenue in central Fresno. Three adults and two children escaped the home, but Isaac Vallejo was unable to escape. Firefighters located the seven-year-old in one of the second-story bedrooms.
Fire investigators determined an accelerant was used to ignite the fire and classified the case as arson. With the discovery of the deceased body of Isaac Vallejo, a murder investigation was initiated with the Fresno Police Department Homicide Unit.
