Detectives Searching for Car Possibly Linked to Murder
June 25, 2024 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that a vehicle believed to have been used during the commission of 19-year-old Angel Zuniga’s murder has been identified. The vehicle is a late 90’s light-colored Lexus LS400 with a partial license plate of #8YKX***.
On Saturday, October 29th, 2022, at about 1:40 a.m., the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a 911 call of shots fired at 8096 E. Hedges Ave. in Fresno. A large Halloween costume party was taking place at this location and there were approximately 200 guests in attendance. A disturbance broke out and shots were fired. Party Guest Angel Zuniga was struck and died at the scene. The majority of the partygoers quickly left the home.
Deputies arrived on scene and detained the remaining party guests for questioning. No arrests have been made.
