July 6, 2024 – Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office releases helicopter footage of the French Fire burn scar in Mariposa County. The video shows just how close the fire came to the town of Mariposa.

CAL FIRE firefighters were able to save the Mariposa County High School, but this video shows how close the fire came to the town and high school.
