January 10, 2025 – El Dorado County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Saturday, January 4th, a local realtor was checking on one of her client’s properties when she encountered a female that had broken into the house. She called 911 while the suspect fled in a vehicle. 

The crew of Echo 1 was able to locate the fleeing vehicle and follow from the air. The suspect, realizing she was caught, parked her vehicle and tried to hide behind a building, but it’s hard to hide from the Echo 1 and the onboard IR camera. The crew of Echo 1 was able to direct the deputies into the area where the suspect was located and placed under arrest.
