BIG NEWS, Mariposa! 

March 19, 2025 – Mariposa County Parks and Recreation officials announce that the Mariposa County Park Playground is getting a MAJOR upgrade! 

CLOSED: Monday, April 21st - May 9th (dates subject to change depending on installation)

Why the closure? We're removing the old play structure (it’s been over 25 years!) and installing a shiny, new playground that’s packed with even more fun features for everyone to enjoy. 

We can’t wait to see all the smiles this new playground will bring! Stay tuned for updates, and thanks for your patience while we work on making this space even better! 

And a BIG THANK YOU to Mariposa County Probation Department for allocating the funds for this project!
