June 5, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office need assistance in locating
39-year-old Jose Melgoza-Enriquez in relation to a FSO homicide investigation from 2017. Jose is NOT a suspect in the case, however, detectives need to speak with him.
On Monday, March 27, 2017, the Huron Police Department received a call of shots being fired in the area of Lassen Ave. and Tornado Ave. While checking the area, they located two victims on 10th Street, east of Lassen Ave., who had been shot. One of the victims, 22-year-old Jesus Amador, was shot multiple times and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC). The second victim was treated and released on scene. Amador later died and the investigation was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office.
