June 9, 2025 – John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation officials announce Kati Baca awarded her second scholarship.
Great work and congratulations to Kati Baca. Kati just received her second scholarship from the JCF Hospital Foundation as she continues her education to become a registered nurse.
Kati works one day per week at John C. Fremont Healthcare District's Northside Clinic as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She also works part-time, remotely, on Clinic Quality Improvement projects for all three JCF clinics. Kati plans to finish her BSN, RN degree program by October. She dreams of serving the community even further by pursuing training to become a Certified Diabetes Educator. The JCF Hospital Foundation is proud to invest in workforce development like Kati's. Such investments make a real difference for Mariposa communities, and the Northside in particular, in this instance. Thank you, Kati, for your great work and your dedication to furthering your knowledge and serving your community.
From Kati: I love working at Northside Clinic because I get to take care of my neighbors. Caring for my local community has been the most rewarding job I have ever had. I look forward to continuing to serve my community. I have worked at NSC for 10 years and been with JCF Healthcare District for 15 years. This clinic is not just a medical office; it is a place where patients can come that feels like family. Being a local and getting to know so many people on a first-name basis is truly an honor.
