Missing Person Cold Case – Help Us Find Mark Dantche
September 4, 2025 – Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are still seeking information about Mark Norman Dantche, who went missing on May 30, 2015, in the Railroad Flat area.
Mark was 45 years old at the time of his disappearance and would be 56 today. The evening of his disappearance, he reportedly planned to go fishing in the West Point area.
He was last seen driving a blue 1996 Subaru with a yellow kayak on top. (CA license plate: 4YMF103)
- The vehicle may have had a dent in the front passenger fender.
Neither Mark, his vehicle, nor his kayak has been seen since that night.
