A Community United in Honor

April 14, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials announce that on Monday, Tulare County came together in a powerful TCSO Deputy Hoppertshow of respect and unity as TCSO Deputy Randy Hoppert was escorted from the Tulare County Coroner’s Office to Salsar and Dillard Funeral Home.

Members of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office were joined by our law enforcement partners to honor Deputy Hoppert, who was tragically killed in the line of duty last week while serving our community.

From Tulare to Visalia, we saw an outpouring of support—community members lining the streets, standing in silence, waving flags, and paying tribute to a man who gave his life in service to others. Your presence did not go unnoticed.

To everyone who came out today: Sheriff Boudreaux wants to say- thank you. Your support means more than words can express to Deputy Hoppert’s family and to every member of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

We will never forget our Fallen Brother.
