January 4, 2023 – The Monterey County Sheriff's Office reports the following. Evacuation Warning issued for areas of Pajaro Community starting 1/4/2023 at 8:00 A.M.
The Monterey County Sheriff's Office has issued an Evacuation Warning for areas of the Parajo Community to go into effect 1/4/2023, at 8:00 A.M. until further notice due to the incoming storm. The following zones are under an Evacuation Warning:
Zone B-003 which includes areas: South of Pajaro River; North of the Union Pacific Railroad; East of Allison Rd; West of Hayes Rd & Union Pacific
Zone B-005 which includes areas: South of Pajaro River; North of Matiasevich Lane; East of the Union Pacific Railroad; West of Allison Rd
Zone B-006 which includes areas: South of Pajaro River; North of Salinas Rd; East of the Union Pacific Railroad; West of Salinas Rd
Zone B-007a which includes areas: South of Bishop St; North of Union Pacific Railroad; East of Allison Rd; West of the Union Pacific Railroad
Zone B-0012a which includes areas: South of Pajaro River; North of Trafton Rd; East of McGowan Rd; West of Highway 1

If you are in an Evacuation Warning Zone prepare to leave. Be ready to leave if an evacuation order is issued. Gather essential items now to be ready to go.
