1/31/24 Update Per Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department: Missing Person Unit is advising Kapeneta Pulemagafa has been located.

Thank you to the public, the media, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Mr. Pulemagafa.

January 25, 2024 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the Missing Persons Unit investigators are asking for the public’s help locating At-Risk Missing Person Kapaneta Pulemagafa. He is a 63-year-old male Samoan who was last seen on January 23, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. on the 5800 block of Woodruff Avenue in Lakewood.

Kapeneta is 5’08” tall, 210 lbs., bald, with brown eyes and a full beard, and he has a tattoo of a bird on his left arm.  He was last seen wearing a red “49ERS” hat, yellow reflective vest, and blue jeans. gold/leather chain.

Mr. Pulemagafa suffers from dementia.

His family is concerned with his well-being and is asking for the public’s help.
