Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision (Update)
June 26, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Sunday, June 23, 2024, Charles Edgar Bidinger III, a 38-year-old
resident of San Jacinto, turned himself into deputies at the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station. During the interview, Bidinger admitted to driving the Kia when the collision occurred and fleeing from the scene. Bidinger was booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility for hit and run with Injuries.
The victim remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information is available. (Original Report)
