Yuba County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Third Suspect in Deadly Shooting 

March 25, 2026 – Yuba County Sheriff’s Office officials report that following ongoing investigative efforts by detectives with the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Jesus Vega Jr. surrendered to law enforcement at the Yuba County Jail this past weekend.

Vega Jr. is suspected of involvement in last Friday’s shooting on 6th Avenue in Olivehurst that claimed the life of Benito Valle.

Vega Jr. was booked into the Yuba County Jail on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm in public, and willful discharge of a firearm.
