July 13, 2017 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office reports on Wednesday, July 12, 207 Madera County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to Willow Creek at Angel Falls in Eastern Madera County for a subject who had slipped in the water and fallen down into a pool.
Madera County Sheriff Deputy Cushing, who is on both the Dive Team and Swift Water Team, responded to the call while on patrol.
Deputy Cushing put on his safety gear and was able to deploy a throw rescue line to the subject. The subject was able to get out of the hole on his own, with the assistance of the throw rope.
The Madera County Sheriff's Office would like to remind everyone to be cautious around water and always utilize safety equipment.
