Update 7:35 A.M.: Bakersfield is now included in the Dense Fog Advisory
Update: Dense fog has developed over more of the San Joaquin Valley and the Dense Fog Advisory has been expanded. Expect very low visibility over parts of the SJV through noon today.
January 16, 2022 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for a portion of the central San Joaquin Valley including the Merced and Madera areas until 12:00 P.M. Sunday.
Visibility will be as low as 200 to 800 feet.
Motorists should slow down, use low beam headlights, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
Travel delays should be anticipated through midday Sunday.
