October 25, 2024 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that property crimes detectives have arrested 20-year-old Daniel Manzo of Fresno and 37-year-old Jose Munoz Trujillo of Fresno. They have been booked into the Fresno County Jail. Manzo faces charges of robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit robbery and probation violation. Munoz Trujillo faces charges of robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of stolen property. He also had an active arrest warrant for impersonating to get money. Manzo has a bail amount of $127,500. However, he is currently not eligible for bail due to a probation violation hold. Munoz Trujillo has a bail amount of $400,000.
On October 8th, shortly before 9:00 p.m., two men arrived at Adams Market (7013 S Cedar Ave.) on a motorcycle. They both entered the store wearing all black clothing. One wore a motorcycle helmet and the other wore a Ushanka style winter hat. The man in the fur hat pointed a handgun with an extended magazine at the clerk and demanded money. After taking the cash and two bottles of liquor, both suspects left on the motorcycle.
Detectives obtained information that Daniel Manzo and Jose Munoz Trujillo may be the suspects in this robbery. Members of multiple units in the Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on October 18th at a home located at 1363 N. Hughes Ave. in Fresno. Deputies contacted Manzo and arrested him after they found evidence linking him and Munoz Trujillo to the robbery. Detectives located Munoz Trujillo in Exeter and arrested him there.
