March 15, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials report that Fresno County has recently confirmed a case of measles. While Mariposa County has not had any confirmed cases or contacts of cases, preparation is key in preventing any outbreak.
Measles isn't just a little rash.
Measles can be dangerous especially for babies and young children: about 1 out 5 people who get measles will be hospitalized.
