Angel Falls Rescue 

July 5, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just before 2:30 P.M. on Friday afternoon, the Search & Rescue team responded to Angel Falls for a man trapped in the water. He reportedly had suffered a compound leg fracture.

He was extricated by H40 and transported for medical care by Skylife.

Over this long holiday weekend, please stay alert around all waterways and avoid swimming alone.

And never get into the water while under the influence.
