December 18, 2025 - CLOVIS, Calif. - Effective through December 18, 2027, the Sierra National Forest has issued Forest Order 05-15-00-25-20 prohibiting camping, parking, or leaving a motor vehicle for more than 14-days during a 30-day period on any Sierra National Forest Ranger District.
Occupancy limitations address challenges caused by extended stays and unattended property, which can lead to resource damage, safety hazards, and reduced access for other visitors.
