May 31, 2018 - My wife and I will be voting for Heather Bernikoff on June 5. I have been impressed with Heather’s extensive history of working for the public benefit both through volunteering and in her professional life. When someone says, “Trust me”, I look at their record.

Heather is the only candidate in this race with a documented history of serving the public over decades. I encourage all voters to check out her Campaign Facebook Page. Her committee has been posting “Get to Know Heather” posts. As far back as elementary and high school, Heather was involved in volunteering and helping others. There is a newspaper clipping of her as a high school senior leading the effort to create and staff a peer crisis and suicide prevention line. This says a lot about her character and priorities. I know she has also been active on water issues, an area I have spent my career studying.

We need leaders who understand the importance of water when making decisions about zoning, growth and maintaining our rural way of life. It’s time for a change! Vote Heather on June 5 or with your mail-in ballot.
