Prue Has the Right Skills
September 4, 2024 – Suzette has lived in Mariposa County for forty years and in 1986 started her long affiliation with the JC Fremont Healthcare District by joining the Foundation Board of Directors. Since then she has continued championing for patient rights and medical services to remain in Mariposa County.
In 2020 Suzette became the driving force in leading the private citizens Measure O Committee to secure funding for construction of a new hospital emergency room wing. Working with Suzette as a committee member, I saw firsthand her organizational skills and ability to keep the committee focused as a team. She worked passionately to pass the local sales tax measure ensuring funds for the new hospital wing.
In 2022 she was elected to the John C. Fremont Healthcare District Board determined to help solve the operational and billing problems the hospital was facing and to see the new hospital wing constructed. Continuing with her focus on patient care, she also created the new patient advisory board.
With her background in business management coupled with her financial experience, Suzette will continue her commitment to excellence and access to quality health care and health information.
We need hospital board members with a business financial background and leadership skills to get our hospital through these challenging times. Suzette has the right skills and the determination to keep moving us forward one small step at a time.
