October 3, 2024 – I urge you to vote for Suzette Prue for the John C. Fremont Healthcare District Board of Directors. I sat down with her recently to find out more about what she has accomplished and what are her upcoming priorities.

Her dedication to Fremont is unsurpassed. She has spent untold hours at the hospital during the past two years offering wisdom and a steady hand as the district experienced turmoil as well as fallout from Covid.

Her knowledge of the financial side of the hospital has kept the engine running and will continue to do so as they work towards achieving full financial stability.

Suzette is always available to help patients navigate the healthcare system as a patient advocate. She has helped countless people with getting appointments, solving questions with their medical bills, getting test results, etc. Her motto is Patients First and she has implemented the start of a Patient Advisory Committee so patients can connect with hospital leadership and offer advice to improve the patient experience.

On a parallel track, Suzette is head of the Ad Hoc Committee overseeing the construction of the new hospital. The architect has begun design work and she is making sure all the work is completed before the 2030 deadline set by the state.
