October 17, 2018 - I will not vote for Measure M unless we get some assurances that this increase will be earmarked to improve the long overdue needs of the citizens of Mariposa.

Some of our County roads have not seen a single improvement in over 30 years, mostly in the residential areas.  They are rapidly beginning to qualify as the worst roads in the entire state of California.

Our towns are a disgrace with empty lots choked with weeds, scrub and dead trees, overlooked simply because they do not contain structures.  These are an imminent fire hazard to homeowners and should and must be cleared.  What use does it provide when a homeowner diligently clears their property when immediately adjacent is such a vacant lot?

Provide investment in our towns, in the form of community owned facilities that can be used in multiple ways such as cultural activities, to enhance year around visitor interest.

Clean up our towns!
