October 19, 2022 - I am writing to encourage the Mariposa community to vote for Robert Morse for school board. I believe that the most important aspect of leadership is consistent volunteering and involvement, and Bob has been heavily involved in volunteering for (and leading) projects to benefit our kids and the community for many years.
- He is a fellow member of the Mariposa Lions Club who has donated his time to supporting the Annual Fair Parade, the Annual Crab Feed, Sober Grad, SAR BBQ, the FFA and numerous other activities.
- In addition to Lions, Bob was involved in Kiwanis, is currently still a member of the Mariposa Fire Safe Council, and he was appointed by the Board to the MCUSD Citizen's Bond Oversight Committee.
- He has volunteered with the Grizzlies Varsity Football, helped with the MCUSD High School Rodeo, helped pour concrete foundations for sheds, led the efforts to have a Preschool building installed at Catheys Valley Elementary, and he has even stepped into the role of Santa.
- His experience as a Director at school districts means he knows how to find a way through the red tape to get things done. He has proven this with leading and completing major projects. He is a collaborator, a communicator, and knowledgeable about the issues facing our school district.
Bob is a do-er, a giver, a huge volunteer, and an exemplary community leader.
Vote for Bob Morse on Nov. 8th!
Warmly,
Gabriel Edwards
