Kris Casto has given proven leadership in the many years she’s been in Mariposa County at many levels and in so many ways. We are in awe of her accomplishments.
We like her approachability and willingness to listen to more than one facet of an argument. She comes up with solutions that work well for all sides. Her involvement in Foothill Mediation Center is one example.
Kris is dedicated to the youth of Mariposa County, donating her time and resources in fund raisers, cash donations and raffle items to 4-H, FFA, Grizzly Band, Sober Grad Night and scholarship programs through the many clubs and organizations she is involved with.
The agriculture community would thrive under her leadership. Kris understands the importance of the Williamson Act and would defend the obligation that Mariposa County has made with local ranchers and farmers.
Health and safety are huge issues in any community. Harold and Kris help support Mariposa County Fire as well as Search and Rescue, J.C. Freemont Hospital and the Hospital Foundation with their generous contributions and fund raising efforts. Kris has expressed her commitment to keeping the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Department fully trained and staffed.
Election time is not a time that anyone should take lightly. We have read a great deal on the issues at hand and the qualifications and experiences of the candidates. Her opponent’s qualifications, well, they pale in comparison.
We believe experience matters. We’re certain that Kris Casto has the experience to represent her constituents in District III. She will have our vote of confidence.
