Scam Alert!!!!
June 7, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Sheriff’s Office has learned of a scam involving the number for
the Madera County Sheriff’s Foundation.
If you receive any calls from somebody posing as a Deputy Sheriff attempting to collect money, it is fraud.
The Sheriff’s Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports programs within the Sheriff’s Office such as our K-9 program.
Additionally the Sheriff’s Office does not collect fines for outstanding tickets or warrants by phone.
