JCF Hospital Foundation Announces Combined Federal Campaign Participation
December 9, 2025 – The JCF Hospital Foundation is joining other national charities participating in the
2025-2026 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The CFC offers current and retired federal employees the opportunity to donate to the charity of their choice, pre-tax, directly from their paycheck or retirement distribution.
“The JCF Hospital Foundation is excited to participate in this nationwide fundraising program,” said Miranda Wass, Foundation Administrator. “Our CFC number is 90175.”
“We are giving local federal employees and retirees the opportunity to donate directly to an organization that benefits them and their immediate community,” continued Wass.
The JCF Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities by working together to achieve mutual health goals. The Foundation’s philanthropic partnerships with the John C. Fremont Healthcare District and the communities it serves span over 40 years.
“JCF is the last gateway hospital remaining near Yosemite,” said Wass. “There are over one million visitors to Yosemite National Park and sites nearby each year, as well as family and friends visiting us and our neighbors. Contributing to the Foundation through the CFC helps us contribute lifesaving equipment and increase the quality of care at our community hospital.”
All donations directly benefit the John C. Fremont Healthcare District’s programs and services, such as the hospital and outpatient services, as well as scholarships and community health programs in our surrounding rural areas.
“The Healthcare District has a number of needs,” said Foundation President Heather Bernikoff. “Currently, we are focused on raising funds for a new ventilator. Three of the top five complaints patients had when visiting the Emergency Department involved respiratory health. Ventilators save lives, and we need a new one to serve our community. After that, we have a long list of items to fund, including new hospital beds and IV pumps.”
If you are a current or retired federal employee you can select the JCF Hospital Foundation to contribute to through the CFC website using number 90175. Have questions?

“We are so grateful for the enthusiastic response we’ve already received from Yosemite National Park employees,” Wass stated.
Local Mariposan and retired federal employee Kim Tucker has already selected the Foundation to contribute directly from her pension through the CFC.
“I am more than happy to donate to a local non-profit in such an easy way, and I know my donations are going to help our rural community,” Tucker said.
If you would like to support the work of the Foundation but are not a past or present federal employee, you can donate via check to JCFHF, PO Box 1093, Mariposa, CA 95338, or through the online fundraising site at https://www.jcfhospitalfoundation.org/donate. Donations are tax-deductible.
